Amerine, PharmD, MS, BCPS, CPEL, FASHP, FHOPA, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at the Cleveland Clinic and holds a faculty appointment as Associate Professor of Clinical Education at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She is also the Co-Founder of Amerine Clean, LLC, a pharmacy cleanroom cleaning company and hosts The Unscripted Podcast. Dr. Amerine earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy and her Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy while completing her two-year HSPA Residency at UNC Hospitals. Dr. Amerine is the recipient of the 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2022 ASHP Best Practice Awards, 2015 ASHP Foundation Literature Award, 2017 ASHP Foundation Excellence in Medication Safety Award, and 2018 and 2019 ACCC Innovator Awards.
